FAQ

Do you have a question?

My Dolphin's filter is full - How do I clean it?

To take the best care of your filters, we recommend cleaning the filters after each cycle to make sure they last longer. Otherwise, they can get clogged easily and may need to be replaced earlier than necessary.

  • To clean the filters, take the filter basket or filter panels out of the robot and clean them with a garden hose or high stream of water to rinse out any debris that was left there.
  • After you are done rinsing the filters, you can put them straight back into your robot, no need to let them dry!

If you have ultra-fine filters, remember - even if the filters look clean, they can still be clogged with small debris like sand and dust. Our tip is to look at the color of the filter. If the ultra-fine filters wash white, then they are not clogged. If the ultra-fine filters no longer wash white, this indicates that the ultra-fine filters are clogged and we recommend replacing them.

Once your filters are clean, your robot will be able to clean more effectively – if you are still having issues with the way your robot is cleaning, please contact us here.

Bag filters can be washed in the washing machine at 30 degrees; let them air dry. The filter cartridge panels can be cleaned in the dishwasher at 30 degrees.
