My Dolphin starts and then stops

If your Dolphin robotic pool cleaner starts and then stops, follow these troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue:


Note - It is important to make sure the robot is submerged in at least three feet of water before turning it on.


Remove the robot from the pool, and disconnect the power supply from the outlet.


Place the robot upside down, and try rotating the brushes by hand. Check the tracks and brushes, and all the nooks and crannies for any obstructions or visible damage.

Ensure the power supply remains unplugged.


If you find debris trapped in the impeller, open the impeller, remove the debris, and reassemble it. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver, do not use a power drill.

If your robot model has a Power Stream mobility system, please check the clear plastic cover around the motor unit and the grilles on the sides of your model for visible debris there as well.
