FAQ

Do you have a question?

I can no longer connect to the app

There may be several reasons that are preventing the application from connecting to your robot again.

Please see what the most accurate troubleshooting steps are for you:

For My Dolphin Plus™ :

If a new or replacement power supply does not locate the robot, there are a few steps that will help and solve the issue:

  • Disconnect the black cable from the electric outlet.

  • Disconnect the blue cable from the power supply unit and wait 30 seconds.

  • Afterwards, reconnect both cables and let the robot work in the pool for about 3 minutes.

  • Turn the power supply unit off and repeat steps 1-3. You can repeat these steps up to 5 times.

  • Verify that the network name has not been changed, and that the phone is connected to the same network that the app intends to be connected with.

  • Please reset the power supply and router, by disconnecting each of them from the electric outlet, wait 30 seconds and reconnect.

  • We would suggest deleting and re-installing the app, making sure you have allowed the pop-up notification "Allow while the app is working". Make sure you have enabled all operating conditions needed for the app to work properly (Location Services, Bluetooth, 3G/4G, or Wi-Fi with at least 60% in signal strength).

  • Verify that your Wi-Fi network is set on 2.4GHz only and not on 5GHz or dual band.

It could be that your pool area's Wi-Fi signal is low, which could cause connectivity issues.

To resolve this issue, we recommend the following:

  • Place your power supply closer to your home router/extender.

  • Place your router closer to the power supply.

  • You can also use an extender for the Wi-Fi signal. (In this case, please consult with your local internet provider.)
