My Liberty 600 isn't reaching the steps
Ensure that the robot is not set to Floor Only mode. In Regular, Ultra-Clean, and the 1-week Eco Mode settings, the robot will be able to ascend steps and sun ledges.
We recommend setting the robot to Regular or Ultra-Cleaning mode. The robot will reach the steps during the 2/3-hour cleaning cycle. It uses its jet spray from the bottom to dislodge debris from the steps, and then it cleans any debris that falls onto the floor.
For optimal results with sun-ledge cleaning, the robot requires a water depth of 35 cm. The feature may operate differently on sun ledges that are 30-35 cm deep.
It is essential for the robot to scan the pool and map the location of the stairs or sun ledge during the initial few cycles.
