My Dolphin came with fine filters. Are finer filters available for my Dolphin?
Dolphin can be equipped with fine spring filters (100 microns) that remove large debris (leaves, grass, twigs) and/or ultra-fine filters (50 microns) that clean small particles (e.g. sand, dirt).
Spring filters should be used for initial spring cleaning (early in the season).
Notable changes in the suction capacity of your Dolphin are a good indication that the filters need cleaning. For a thorough cleaning, wash the filter bag in the washing machine at 30 degrees, using a regular synthetic wash cycle, and let it air dry.
Never allow the filters (bag or cartridges) to dry before rinsing them. Cartridges can be cleaned in the dishwasher at 30 degrees.
