FAQ

Do you have a question?

I can power my Dolphin on but it does not move

First of all, we advise you to check these main elements:

  • Check that the blue cable is securely connected to the power supply unit of your robot
  • Check that the empeller is clean and does not contain any debris.
  • Make sure that the cable is not twisted or bent and that it is long enough for the Dolphin to cover the entire pool.
  • Check that no debris is trapped in the robot's drives. Try to handle the brushes by hand. They should rotate freely in both directions with minimal resistance. If this is not the case, debris is probably stuck in the tracks or wheels.

Also try soft resetting the power supply:

Unplug the power supply unit from the electrical outlet and wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the power.

Finally, if after performing all these checks, your robot does not move when you switch on the power supply, we advise you to contact your authorized Dolphin dealer for further diagnosis (cable, power supply and motor test).

Find all the maintenance tips (empeller cleaning) in the user manual of your Dolphin : https://manuals.maytronics.com/

You will need to indicate the model of your Dolphin robot.
