How do I clean my Skimmi?
Complete these steps periodically to take the best possible care of your Skimmi!
1. Wipe the Skimmi down, making sure to clean the sensors as well, with a cloth dampened with water.
2. If the solar panel is covered in limescale buildup, gently clean it with lemon juice, diluted citric acid, or vinegar.
3. To prevent future buildup, consider rinsing less frequently or towel dry the skimmer after each use.
4. Additionally, you can balance your pool's pH with a water test strip and add pool-grade acid accordingly. This helps maintain the water chemistry and reduces the likelihood of limescale buildup on the robot and other pool surfaces. We recommend making sure not to submerge the Skimmi in water or wash it with a high-powered water stream to avoid water corrosion.
