My Dolphin is getting stuck on the drain
If your robot is getting stuck on the pool drain and is unable to extract itself, try the following steps:
1. Turn the pool filter system off for the duration of the robot cleaning cycle. The additional suction from the main drain can cause the robot to get stuck.
2. There are after-market drain-assist devices that can be attached to the main drain cover that help prevent the Dolphin from getting stuck. (They can be found through an internet search.)
3. If your robot has an adjustable handle: Adjust the handle to the furthest slot in the front to help the robot overcome the drain.
