As the title states, this is exactly what I was looking for when researching pool sweeps. My previous one finally decided to quit working after four years. We have mature trees, plants, and the usual items such as bugs and dirt. The large basket has plenty of room for all of this junk. It’s also minimal effort when pulling the basket out to hose off and dump the contaminants. The app feature has worked flawlessly as well. It’s nice to run a second or even a third cycle simply by tapping on the cycle of cleaning requested in the app. The manual steering feature is of great help when retrieving the sweep for cleaning. There is some lag time (about a second or two) between the input of steering and the robot actually moving. However, this was very easy to adjust to with some planning. There is an auto retrieve function in the app that will bring it to the surface. However, I retrieve and launch from a specific spot every time. Thus, the manual function works great! Ours is hooked up to a wireless fiber internet that is located about 30 feet from the control box of the sweep. There have been zero issues with connections. I recommend that you purchase the cradle for storage as well. I leave the control box attached, plug it in and when done, simply store the sweep back on the cradle and put away… very convenient! PROS: Powerful suction for cleaning Ease of basket removal Wireless/bluetooth connectivity CONS: Robot is a bit hefty when initially full of water and debris at initial pull out..this is a big system Tangle free cord sometimes tangles…but still very manageable and doesn’t “knot” up Pricey - but so far, worth the expense I would definitely buy and also recommend spending the money. It’s worth it.

I'm only in month one, but I'm very happy with the E20... Half the cost of my previous Dolphin cleaner (Proteus DX4) it does everything that the other model did... And despite the controller pictured in Amazon, it DID come with a programmable controller, meaning that I can run it on a 1-week cycle in absentia. Absolutely NO complaints so far! I will come back and update this review after the season is over.

This was my second robot and have had this one, his name is Bill, for about a month. He's done everything asked of him and works as advertised. The manual steering is a little to get used to as it lags just a little bit. I use this to bri g him out of the pool at the same location. I believe this is because it goes from my phone into our internet, then into the machine so a little lag is to be expected. We have fiber optic internet and it works great! Pros: Everything as advertised from the ease of set up, the app, and all the information in the app. The top loading basket is more than enough room for all of the debris which includes leaves, sticks, dirt, etc. Con: This is a heavier bot when full of water. However, this easily overcome by holding it just above the waterline to let it drain. The swivel cord doesn't seem to swivel and keep from tangles. But where it does help is winding it back on the carrier as it makes it a breeze. I would definitely buy again and splurge for the carrier as it makes moving it around, while not in the water very easy.

This robot has been quite the time saver. With a new concrete pool there’s a lot of scrubbing of the pebble you have to do once the pool is filled; especially in the 1st couple of weeks. This thing is climbing walls, scrubbing the water line and collecting sediment you’re not aware exists! Our pool stays crystal clear and pool walls and floor free debris. Now you’ll have to simply use a vacuum for your spa as it two small to maneuver in. It does occasionally get stuck over my two drains but somehow figures it out. You’ll be happy with this purchase. Also download the Dolphin app to control it from where ever.
