I use this to remove large debris (leaves, Worms, pine needles) from bottom of pool. It does much better than the 2021 Polaris Epic that it replaced, and this Dolphin unit is almost half the price. It would take 5 cycles with the old robot to collect what the dolphin does. Negatives- doesn't clean the water line, but those are simple to brush. The vacuuming part was the pain point for me and this robot does it 10/10 stars. If climbing stairs is important to you, you should consider a 4 wheel drive model with the large wheels. The track propelled units don't do as well in general as the 4 wheel drive units (in my experience).

Had a lot of dirt, oak tassels, etc and had to run it twice BUT there was a lot to pick up and it did a great job!

My pool looks great, I should have replaced my old one years ago. I decided to go with a corded cleaner so it could stay in the pool and clean while on vacation. This is my second dolphin and I bought again bc of the great customer service.

I am so glad that I upgraded for the DX 4 because it cleans the walls and waterline which is nice when it is pollen season on the Gulf coast. I’ve had dolphin products before and their customer service keeps me coming back. I am very happy with the quality of cleaning this robot does!

I have a small in ground fiberglass pool. (10x20) I use the cleaner once a week. It does a fabulous job. I'm actually surprised at just how good a job it does. Make sure you buy the caddy that is available to tote the cleaner around. It is worth every penny.

The sweeper does a great job randomly traveling around the pool, like an under water rumba. It climbs the side of the pool and sweeps the edge tile. Basket picks up all sizes of material from sand to leaves.
