Getting started with your Skimmi™
Congratulations on your new Dolphin Skimmi!
After you have unpacked the skimmer and removed all the plastic wrapping it's time to start!
Preparing your Skimmi for use:
- Remove the two orange storage clips from the filter tray
- Push the filter tray in until it snaps into place
- Download the MyDolphin Skimmi app
- To begin the pairing process, manually turn the front wheel to enable the Bluetooth connection
- Tap 'Start Clean' and place the Skimmi in a sunny pool to start working!
We recommend using the Skimmi in a pool/outdoor temperature between 39-131 degrees Fahrenheit. You can also use the Skimmi while the pool robot cleans the pool. If the robot is corded, we recommend setting the Skimmi 'Avoid cable hose' in the MyDolphinSkimmi app Settings.
The two orange clips that come with the Skimmi hold the filter tray securely in place when the robot is not in use. We recommend keeping them to use when the Skimmi is in storage.
If the Skimmi is set on Auto Start, the orange clips act as a barrier to prevent the filter tray from being inserted completely so that the Skimmi does not start its cleaning cycle automatically when not in use.
