overall does a great job, but still have to get in corners and step lines. Saves a ton of work.
First, I have owned 3 Polaris pool vacuums which were all more expensive than this Dolphin. None of them lasted more than 3-4 years. Mainly right after the warranty went out. No one could work on them and when they did the parts were just as expensive as getting a new one. Everyone I spoke with recommended this Dolphin. We have a 20x40 rectangular pool. Day 7 of my Dolphin and everything is GREAT. Cleans the water line even although it says doesn’t. It does get stuck on our drains, but not a big deal. It gets stuck more on my rope anchors. Not fancy, but 100% gets the job done. Will update as time goes on.
We’ve owned 3 or 4 Polaris pool vac. Thought time to try something else. Wow very impressed. If your dealing with dirt etc the two filters work fabulous. The units a little heavy for me I’m 67 but I’m still using it. It says not to use a extension cord I had no other choice works fine. Don’t know if it will pick up leaves none to try it on. I will buy again when needed. Also it will run 3 hrs and twice if its reset.
Very easy to clean basket, nice handle to retrieve from water
Great product. Vacuum the pool myself was so tiring. The corded vacuum seems to be the best vacuum since it uses much less power that the side suction or other vacuum. The cordless are quite there yet in technology, seem to fair sooner. Also this vacuum has it own filter so all the stuff coming from the floor gets out of your pool unlike the side suction. It was kind of a bummer taking it in and out of garage so I made a caddy for it. $40 plus some zip ties.
I had an old one about nine years ago. Still worked but don’t climb the wall's of the pool. This new model does a great job cleans the whole pool. I highly recommend!
This replaces a Heyward unit that only lasted 3 years. So far impressed. Cleans the water line and cable doesn’t twist either.
Yes, I would recommend this product to a friendSuper happy with this product. Had it for about a year. Everything’s great but the cord is starting to get tangled. Trying to figure out how to get it straightened back out.
