In addition to Europe and the US, Poseidon system is now available also in Australia.
The Poseidon drowning detection system is a computer aided drowning detection system. The system is commonly installed in bathing areas, such as municipal swimming pools, waterparks, therepeutic baths, and other places where there is standing water in which there is a risk of drowning.
One common misperception of drowning is that all victims show distress at the surface of the pool. If this were the case, lifeguards would have great odds of avoiding tragedy. The reality is that drowning is almost always a silent lack-of-oxygen event below the surface of the water. Poseidon Sends audible alert and visually displays the victim’s location coordinates to the lifeguarde.
